
Mike Nasche is the Owner and Principal Consultant of Sense of Urgency Consulting LLC. He is an Airborne Infantryman, a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and a subject matter expert in Veteran Transition.
Most recently Mr. Nasche served as the Chairman of the Veterans Resource Group at Baker Hughes Inc. and helped them become the #3 Most Military Friendly Company in the Nation.
In addition to his combat experience, Sergeant First Class Nasche served as a Military Recruiter for the Army. His numerous Active Duty Recruiting Awards helped launch his career as an Account Executive and Recruiter for an Executive Search Firm, that firm specialized in placing Veterans into Corporate America and Oilfield Services Companies.

Mike Nasche was sent to Washington D.C. to testify as an Expert Witness before a Congressional Sub-Committee hearing titled "American Energy Jobs: Opportunities for Veterans". In his testimony he gave specific examples of how businesses can do more to bridge the gap for transitioning service members. His model creates a powerful Win-Win situation for Businesses and Veterans.
After his Testimony, Mike met personally with Rep. Bill Flores (TX), Rep. Mullins (OK) and Rep. Cramer (ND), as well as Senators John Walsh and Jon Tester to discuss “Veterans in Energy”.

In 2013 Mike Nasche was elected as the 1st Chairman of the Baker Hughes Veterans Resource Group, also in 2013 Baker Hughes made their debut on the Military Friendly Top 100 Employer List at #74. An aggressive recruiting goal to "Hire a Veteran every day", along with the amazing community Outreach and the overwhelming Employee Engagement is what made Baker Hughes soar to the #3 Military Friendly Employer in 2014.

Mike is driven by his passion to support Veterans, especially Wounded Veterans. Over the last decade his efforts resulted in him being awarded the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (MOVSM).
In 2014 Mike's outreach resulted in more than $50,000 donated to well deserving Veteran supporting Non-Profit Organizations like Warrior's Weekend, HALO for Freedom Warrior Foundation, Outdoor Association for Texas Heroes (OATH Inc.), and the Boot Campaign. In 2015 he has already raised $100,000 for seven specific charities that support Wounded Veterans and/or Transitioning Service Members.
Mike also serves on the Board of Directors for Impact a Hero; IaH provides immediate and ongoing support for our severely wounded, post-9/11 combat veterans and their families and caregivers. In addition to all these efforts Mike even finds time to serve as Volunteer Fireman.
